WE BELIEVE GREAT BEER SHOULD BE WHERE PEOPLE ALREADY ARE.
Beerlove was built on a simple idea. Great beer should be easy to find, not locked behind the same tired contracts that have controlled Australian taps for decades. We are here to change that.
Our Story
STARTED IN 2026. BUILT FOR THE LONG GAME.
Beerlove launched in 2026 with a refreshed vision and a stronger team. We had seen what the model could be, understood what it would take to build it properly, and came back ready to execute.
The concept is straightforward. We take a fully branded, fully operational craft beer container bar and drop it onto unused outdoor spaces at community venues. Bowls clubs, RSLs, markets, ovals and events. The venue provides the space and the licence. We provide everything else.
But Beerlove is more than a bar. We genuinely care about the people we pour for, the venues we work with and the breweries whose beer fills our taps. We want to be part of the community, not just passing through it. That means building real relationships with brewers who deserve more shelf space, regulars who deserve more than the same three taps every weekend, and venues that deserve a genuine reason for people to keep coming back.
Small and independent breweries have always had the hardest time getting their beer in front of people. The bigger players lock up the taps and the shelf space, and great local product gets crowded out. Beerlove creates a real, scalable alternative. A growing network of outdoor activations that exist specifically to give those breweries access to new audiences, in spaces they would never have reached on their own.
We are currently building our venue network in Melbourne, with plans to expand across Australia from there.
A fully equipped container bar that arrives branded, staffed and ready to pour. No capex and no complexity for the host venue.
We embed ourselves in the communities we operate in and build real, lasting relationships with the venues, breweries and drinkers we work alongside.
We create genuine tap access for small and independent breweries. We pay fair prices, tell their stories and put their beer in front of the right crowd.
One app connecting all Beerlove venues. Loyalty points, new brew alerts and venue discovery all in one place.
The Origin
BEERLOVE 1.0
Beerlove was first founded in July 2019 on Sydney's Northern Beaches by Robert Kinkade and Ryan Blundell. The original vision was to democratise access to craft beer on tap — a market they could see was broken, with most pub taps locked into exclusive supply contracts controlled by two major multinational breweries.
The founding team built a prototype bar in Elanora Heights called the Bunker Bar, which quickly became a local favourite and validated the core concept. They launched pop-up activations with a branded beer trailer at markets and events, ran Sunday residencies at local venues, and put together an experienced board and early stage team with backgrounds across hospitality, technology, marketing and venture capital.
In 2022 the business completed a seed capital raise, bringing in external investors who believed in the model. Despite strong early indicators, the business ultimately did not achieve the scale needed to sustain full operations and the original entity wound down its active trading.
The core of what made Beerlove compelling — the container bar format, the community venue model, the independent brewery partnerships — remained intact. The concept just needed a sharper focus, a leaner structure and the right team to execute it.
July 2019, Northern Beaches, Sydney
Standalone craft beer retail venues and pop-up activations focused entirely on independent Australian breweries.
The problem is real and the demand is there. The model needed to be leaner, more portable and built around existing venues rather than standalone operations.
Rather than building venues from scratch, Beerlove 2.0 drops a fully operational container bar into spaces that already exist. No capex for the venue, no complex leases, no standalone overheads. The same mission — getting great beer to more people — delivered in a way that actually scales.
